Bethany Slack is the Community Services Coordinator at the Board of Health who works to connect Billerica residents under 60 to resources and information on housing, utilities, food insecurity, mental health services and more. Operation Christmas Child has begun. Boxes can be found in the back of the Sanctuary. Please bring in your boxes by November 24th.The boxes will be brought to Chelmsford Bible Church. If possible there is a $10 donation for shipping a box.

Tuesday Night Discussion 

Rev. Jocelyn will lead a discussion group starting October 15th. We'll run for six weeks through the week before Thanksgiving. We'll use the Holy Post podcast (or another podcast episode if the spirit leads) and share the episodes and some discussion questions beforehand. The group will start at 7:00pm via ZOOM . The nominees for our annual Turkey of the Year are The Gravito Family, The Gannon Family and Hannah Gould and Brett Goldstein. The winner(s) will be announced on November 24. Good luck to all! The proceeds will be going to the Billerica Community Food Pantry.

1. November 16 - Open Masjid (Mosque) Day at Anjuman-E-Ezzi from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at 246 Rangeway Road. Learn about the rich history, traditions, sample cuisine, and take a colorful tour. 
2. November 16 - An event for Kisoboka Uganda, Inc. from 3:00pm-6:00pm in Arlington, MA. Tickets are required please speak to Rev. Jocelyn or Kim Gannon for more information
3. November 26 - Interfaith Thanksgiving service from 6:00pm - 8:30pm at the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church. The event is free and everyone is welcome. 
4. November 30 - Saint Vincent de Paul would like to celebrate the advent season by inviting you to view a display of nativity sets at St. Matthew Parish - St. Theresa Hall (behind the church) from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. If you would like to have your nativity displayed please call Linda at 978-604-2272 (leave a message) by November 16.
